Contracted maintenance · Fortnightly

The scheduled cycle.

This is the base contract. It runs to a written specification so both sides know what is included, and it is the same standard every visit whether or not anyone is watching.

Lawn mowing and edging

Mowing to specification with all areas edged first, on berms, verges, entries and common lawns. Clippings removed rather than blown into beds.

Hedge trimming and pruning

Hedges maintained to shape, shrubs pruned to promote growth, palms cleared of dead fronds. Trees shaped to a maximum of 3 metres.

Weed control

Targeted weeding and selective spraying through beds, paths, car parks and hard surfaces, applied to label rate and never before forecast rain.

Garden bed maintenance

Beds cultivated and kept weed free, slow-release organic fertiliser twice yearly, mulch topped to depth, pests and disease monitored.

Improvement works

Quoted separately, never absorbed.

Identified during routine visits, priced individually and raised ahead of your budget cycle so they can be approved as a decision rather than appearing as a surprise.

Turf renovation

Aeration, de-thatching and top dressing where compaction and thatch are choking the lawn. Sold as an annual programme rather than a rescue job.

Turf supply and laying

Wear areas, failed patches and level corrections. Species matched to the existing lawn, with taper allowances at the boundaries.

Mulch programmes

Beds topped to depth. Strong visual return for modest cost, and easy to justify to an owner or committee.

Garden refurbishment

Tired, gappy or failed beds redesigned and replanted. Usually triggered by a complaint you need solved.

Pressure cleaning

Paths, entries and car park surfaces. Often outside the maintenance scope and unclaimed by any other contractor on site.

Storm response

Post-weather clean-ups, fallen branches and debris clearing, outside the normal cycle and quoted on the day.
